Release of Fevered Souls Season Two

S.K. Falls is one of my local writing friends, who is not only sweet and talented but also mind-bogglingly productive. While I've been limping along with the rewrite of my WIP, she’s been producing novels left and right, like Secret for a Song and World of Shell and Bone. She has also been working on a serial novel, releasing new episodes every few weeks. Once the first part of the story came to an end, she released the season 1 omnibus; now that the second part of Fevered Souls has concluded, she’s releasing Season 2. Fevered Souls is a paranormal romance about the journey of Cara and Dax as they traverse friendships gone awry, sinister visitors from the past, and everything in between.
Fevered Souls
Since S.K. is stopping by the blog at the same time as the YALLFest authors, I thought I’d have her answer some of the same questions.

What one thing do you need to have when you write?
A big cup of coffee!

What is the hardest line to write - the first or the last?
Oh man, definitely the first. Sometimes they come to me without hardship and other times…yeah. Let’s just say I might have a few first-line-induced bald patches.

Best writing tip you ever received?
Have a writing schedule and stick to it even when you don’t feel like it.

Where's your favorite place to write?
Definitely at my desk facing my window. It puts me in the right mindset.

At what point in the development of an idea do you know that it will become a full-length novel
Usually when the idea won’t leave me alone. I have the central idea, and then key scenes will keep popping into my head. At that point I’m usually ready to begin plotting.

Thanks for stopping by to answer a few questions, S.K.! You can find the omnibus here.

S.K. FallsHere's her official bio: A huge fan of spooky stuff and shoes, S.K. Falls enjoys alternately hitting up the outlet malls and historic graveyards in Charleston, SC where she lives and imbibes coffee. Her husband and two small children seem not to mind when she hastily scribbles novel lines on stray limbs in the absence of notepads.

Since no writer’s biography is complete without mention of her menagerie of animals, you should know she has one dog that doubles as a footstool, a second that functions as a vacuum cleaner, and a cat that ensures she never forgets that her hands are, first and foremost, for pouring cat food.
