Bacon Kingdom

Bailey with the letter BFor the Blogging from A to Z Challenge, I’m having Fun with Fonts. Each day I’ll feature a few I like based on either the look of the font or its name. I’ll also pick a font to inspire one of my tweet tales

Even though it’s a little early for Easter, today’s first font is Bunny Rabbits. At first I thought it was cute the way the bunnies and their ears formed the letters, but I don’t know ... the more I look at it, the more I think it’s sort of creepy.

Bunny Rabbits

Next up is British Museum, which caught my eye with its classic vibe. I like how the flourishes on the letters make it look like an antique.

The next three aren’t very exciting in the actual font department, but I was immediately struck with how I could put their names together to form my font inspired tweet tale for the day:

The sign said
Beware of the hogs
I scoffed, but then had to defend myself, committing a
Barnyard Massacre
that resulted in
Bacon Kingdom

All written out the tweet tale is:

The sign said beware of the hogs. I scoffed, but then had to defend myself, committing a barnyard massacre that resulted in bacon kingdom.

What do you think of these fonts? Do they inspire any stories in your mind? How beautiful is Bailey with her letter B?

I love this idea for an A to Z theme!!! I will definitely return to see what other fonts crop up - I'm kind of a font junkie, so this is right up my proverbial alley!

Cheers,
marci :o)

Haha Bacon Kingdom. Too bad it's not pieces of bacon forming the letters.

I really like the British Kingdom font. I think its all because of the ornate, romantic look of it.

People are completely fixated on bacon! I'll give you that!

Glad to have popped by for your very entertaining post!

Hi Jocelyn, I got a bit behind yesterday and still had your A post up to comment on - but I'm glad I chanced upon your bunnies instead. Your tweet tale, while macabre, is actually quite brilliant - as usual Reflex Reactions
